My bike is prettier than yours
Isn’t it? Yeah, I flipped the air filter around after I realized it was facing the wrong way.

Floor - Below & Beyond, a ridiculously rad box set
Some of you might be familiar with Floor, the stoner/sludge/doom outfit out of Florida that released a bunch of 7”s, some splits, and 2 full lengths. Well, Robotic Empire is releasing a simply ludicrous box set, limited to 305 copies, with a $250 price tag. If I were a bigger fan with a bigger pocketbook, I’d be all over this.
See a lot more shots at Pirates Press’ blog,...

Modest Mouse The Moon & Antarctica 2x12" reissue!
The bands best work (IMO) is getting the reissue treatment for Record Store Day, but you can preorder it directly from Sony right now. I adore this album, and a 2x12” 180g pressing with remastered audio and original artwork seems like a no-brainer to me.

First up is el Mole Ocho, which is an attempt at exploring the flavors of… mole sauce. Cocoa, chiles, coffee… sounds worth a try.
Perhaps a bit more palatable is the Beerhive Tripel, which uses local honey and ginger for some earthy complexity and snap...

Fennesz + O'Rourke + Rehberg = Fenn O'Berg
This sounds pretty fantastic. Christian Fennesz, Jim O’Rourke and Peter Rehberg have combined forces for their first proper studio release together as Fenn O’Berg, In Stereo. Shipping on 2x12” next week, order from experimedia.net or elsewhere!

All the Kate The Great accounted for by 5:25am...
Yeah, this is getting out of hand. According to Portsmouth Brewing’s Facebook page, all the bottles of the by-all-accounts-but-I’ll-never-have-it Kate The Great were accounted for by 5:25am. They had hope to start handing out the reservation tickets at 7, but people were in line by 12:30am in cold, rainy, New Hampshire weather. I shudder to think what Dark Lord Day is going to be like....

Black Sabbath s/t and Master of Reality reissues!!
While I’m not huge on the s/t, Master of Reality is a true classic of the genre and a must-own for fans. Hopefully these are the same remastered audio as the recent CD releases, but that’s not specified. Preorder each at insound.com, for a nice price.
